Closer to Brighton Marina near Black Rock (where they do the free parties ) The sheer force and power of the waves hammering the wall was humbling.

Wow...

The timing on this is incredible!!! Capturing the wave crashing... the height... the distance... looks like you certainly can get drenched standing there!!!

Wish images came with sound so I could hear the roar of the waves crashing!!!

All I can say is WOW!! Would love to have seen this in person to feel the vibrations and the sounds. Water is fascinating with the range of its characterists....calm to violent, soothing to violent.

Amazing shot - the way you've captured the energy of the waves is simply stunning.

Hmm... was tempted to trek down to Bournemouth beach and try something similar myself, but fear of water damage to sensitive electronic equipment made me bale. That said, I doubt I could have captured something as effective as this in a million years.

the juxtaposition (fun art school word) of this peace is what really floored me...calm almost amorpheus silhoettes of people in the foreground, with just raw power in the background...a really interesting shot, of a really interesting moment....and to tell you the truth, i am scared to death of water and waves, and this image is just frightening....great great work.
